HARC Awards are presented annually at our awards evening in the autumn, and are based on progress, achievement or performance in the year from 1st September to 31st August.

The awards recognize everything that we celebrate at HARC – supporting each other, improving and giving our best, inclusivity, and perhaps most of all enjoying our sports.

There are eight awards, each aligned to one of our club principles. You can find out more about each award, including the basis on which it is awarded, by clicking on the awards below:

Some of the awards are based on performance. The GOTY awards look at the performance of our athletes compared to the UK record holder in their age category. The Mighty Oak looks at how these performances have improved from the prior year.

In both cases, the performance calculation uses official data from England Athletics’ The Power of 10. Therefore, to qualify for these awards you must make sure your performances are being recorded on The Power of 10 website. To check this, go to your profile on the HARC website (https://harc.uk/athlete-profile), and scroll down to the organizations section, and click on the EA urn number. This will be a link to your profile on The Power of 10.

If you do not see your details and your results, please get in touch and we can help make sure you are registered properly.

If you are missing results, it is usually because your URN wasn’t entered properly when you registered for the event. Please make sure you provide your URN when registering for any event that gives you the opportunity to do so. Parkruns should show up too, but some other events – those not registered with England Athletics and conducted under England Athletics rules – won’t be shown.

If you would like to know more about any of our awards, please contact anyone on the Committee.
