And its time again for this month’s Cross Country event. This month the HARC gang were at Fox Rush Farm woodland in Redcar. A good turnout for HARC today with members in various running categories. The weather was beautiful up in Redcar, clear skies and it was great to run in the sun again after all the dark night running lately.

This course wound around a wooded area next to a large open field. The paths were narrow in places and you could settle into a nice pace behind the line of runners. A lovely leafy course with lots or roots to watch out for and overall great trail running. Being a flat course it was quite a quick one and everyone worked hard and pushed themselves.

1st off Ezra, George, Elodie and Stanley ran in the under 10/12’s and all put in a superb effort and did themselves proud.

We also had members running in the Senior and Vet women and Vet 65 male category. Sarah, Liz, Amy, Sam, Louis and Eve all completed the 5.8km course, which was 2 laps around the wooded route. Special well done to Sam who had also already ran the local Parkrun earlier that morning.

Lastly Dave and Chris ran in the Senior and Vet category. This entailed 3 laps of the route and 8.6km of running. Super fast efforts from the both of them.

Thankyou to everyone who turned up to cheer us on and support each other. What an effort from everyone, a great meet up – bring on next month!
