The 34th annual fun run in the historic village of Snape took place on September 23rd. The 10k is multi-terrain with some roads through Bedale and HARC members who successfully completed the course were Andrew Garner, Mary Gregory, Michelle Slade, Lesley Whitehouse and Richard Slade. Extra congratulations to Richard and Andrew who gained new PBs at this distance.
The 5k is mainly over footpaths and fields and its challenge was accepted by Mark Blair, Robert Gregory, Ruth Hancock, Erin Marley, Sara Sherwood, Samantha Scarlett, Joanne Sinnott and Graham Finlay, who collected the prize for being first in his age category.
As ever, there were medals for all finishers and trophies for the prize winners, as well as homemade lunches and cake in the village hall. A lovely morning out for all!
